Can anyone help me name this show/episode?

I think it was either are you afraid of the dark or a similar show but in the episode the girl drinks a potion to make herself prettier for a dance and after a while the potion gives her fangs and makes her ugly. I can't for the life of me figure out what show it is or if it is an episode of are you afraid of the dark. any suggestions for similar shows which might have run during the 90's would be appreciated.
