Why does everyone come to ME for advice?

I honestly don't understand why! It's not that I mind it, but like random people I talk to once in a blue moon seem to like venting to me, and I always try my best to give them advice. But the most random one i've had so far was tonight. About a year n a half ago a guy used me to cheat on his gf at a party (i ofcourse asked if he had one, he had told me no and i found out the next day) I pretty much hated him since then, i havent talked to him since, and randomly, just RANDOMLY he decided to msg me,. I asked how he was, just being nice, and he decided that he would vent to me. It was about his uncle who died in a bad accident near where i live about two days ago. Like, it might have been just cause he needed someone to talk to, but like me? a person that never talked to him for a year and a half? and this guy is PRETTY popular so its not like he doesnt have any friends. I'm just sooooo confused!!!
