How to get rid of a dry nose?

I've had a really bad cold and my nose is super dry, like there's skin flaking off it & it's really sore. Normally I would just moisturize it, but it's not working. I don't want to use anything too greasy because it will break me out but I need a quick and easy way to solve this. Any suggestions? I've been using Olay cream on it & it stings like crazy at first. Also... I still have a cold so it's not going to stay moisturized all day since i'm blowing my nose a lot.
