Please help? This really hurts me?

Theres a guy I really like...that i've liked since last year. And he says he likes me back, but the thing is, hes hooked on my exbest friend. They used to date, and she completely broke his heart. And well...shes um....she...moves on quick...if you get what I mean.And I really really like this kid. Hes amazing. And hes wicked funny. And he turns my worst days into my best. Please help me out here. I don't know what to do. I'm happy that hes happy when hes with her, but the thing is though, I asked her about it, and she says she likes this other kid, and not him. And i'm really upset. Mostly because I know he likes her. And because I know he might get hurt. And thats worse than me getting hurt. Please help me out here. I don't know what to do.
