SoCal vine with yellow flower and big leaves that stinks?

A photo would be the best way to identify it. You will have to get much more specific if you want to use a verbal description. Is the ovary superior or inerior? How many stamen and pistils? Are the petals present, and if so, are they joined or free? Is a calyx present? Is there a floral tube? What do the leaf margins look like? What about the fruits/seeds? Sorry, but plant identification is unfortunately fairly complex, especially for flowering plants.
